I joined the Denver Arthritis Clinic in 2008, after completing my rheumatology fellowship at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
I chose rheumatology because it is a rapidly evolving and challenging field of medicine that provides the opportunity to develop long-term relationships with my patients. I firmly believe that communication, education and partnership between physician and patient are the cornerstones of effective rheumatologic care. Here at Denver Arthritis Clinic, this has proven to be the case, as I am able to develop and maintain a practice that puts the patients’ best interest first.
In addition to my clinical practice, I enjoy contributing to the training of rheumatology fellows at Denver Health Medical Center. I am a member of the American College of Rheumatology and served on the ACR 2020 Task Force.
Outside of work, I love to read, cook and spend time outdoors. Most of all, I enjoy time with my husband and our three children.
