I joined Denver Arthritis Clinic in 2008 after completing my fellowship in rheumatology at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. I enjoy seeing patients with all rheumatic diseases but have a particular interest in rheumatoid arthritis and other types of inflammatory disease.
I feel it is important to have good communication with my patients and their primary care providers for the best comprehensive care possible. I try to educate patients about their diagnosis and treatment options. I think it is important to work together with patients to structure the best treatment plan for each individual based on their diagnoses and preferences.
Additionally, I enjoy working with the next generation of medical students and physicians-in-training to teach them about the field of rheumatology. I also serve on the Committee for Rheumatologic Care for the American College of Rheumatology to advocate for improved care with less obstacles for rheumatologists and their patients.
